Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
Pennsylvania MENTOR provides Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) to children with behavioral and emotional disorders and to children and youth living with autism and autism spectrum disorder.
Mother/Baby Host Home
It takes a village to raise a child, and at Pennsylvania MENTOR, we help build a community of support for the young mothers we serve. In this program, young mothers living in the homes of our foster parents, who we call Mentors, receive intensive case management services to help them be the best moms they can be.
Teen mothers in this program may enter foster care when they are pregnant or after they have given birth. The baby lives with their mother in the Mentor’s home. As long as it remains in the best interest of the child, the mother maintains full custody. Through our Mother Baby Host Home program, we help these young mothers learn how to support and care for their child.
Personalized Support
Our dedicated program service coordinators visit the young mothers in their Mentors’ homes. We make sure the young mothers are working with the support system we help them develop, a support system that includes:
- Parenting classes
- Independent living classes
- Day care
- Support groups
- Access to health care, WIC, and transportation
Our experienced team is available to the young mothers 24/7, offering constant guidance and support. Our goal is to make sure these young women have everything they need to be the best moms possible.
This program is available in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties. Please call 215-925-3461 *5025 for more information.
