General Foster Care

We believe children thrive in family settings. Our Mentor foster parents are dedicated to helping children heal and grow. Our RELATE technique provides Mentors with the skills they need to recognize that a child’s behaviors may not be related to their past. Our focus is to connect with each child and build relationships leading to meaningful behavioral changes.

Many of our Mentors are licensed to provide Therapeutic Foster Care, regardless of the level of care of the child placed in their home.

When children are transitioning from different levels of care, they will also receive additional short-term psychiatric support and coordinated services to support any behavioral challenges they may face. This level of care is especially important for children transitioning from higher levels of care including residential facilities.
