Therapeutic Foster Care
The Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program provides a residential, community-based living environment with specially trained foster parents, called Mentors. The children/adolescents have a range of behavioral issues but do not require a higher level of care, such as the CRR program. The behavioral health services are delivered by other agencies/providers in the community in which the family lives. These services can include individual/family therapy, medication management, psychiatric follow-up, etc. Pennsylvania MENTOR provides the case management services through our TFC Coordinators.
